CHPCA was represented by our own Dr. Mark Mitchell who spoke at a press conference held at Hartford Legislative Office Building on 10/26/26.
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation, local environmental justice leaders, Sierra Club, and legislators gathered at the Capital to discuss Hartford being named the #8 Asthma capital in the country.
Dr. Mark Mitchell commented, “This is a wakeup call for Connecticut policymakers and advocates. We need to do more to adopt asthma protective policies, especially in our urban communities.”
